Deactivated 81mm Mortar, Accessories & Transit Case
This is a deactivated 81mm mortar as used by the USA, France and Great Britain during WW2. Designed by the Frenchman, Edgar Brandt, it is essentially a modified version of the British Stokes mortar. It was a successful design and was copied by many countries during WW2.
This particular mortar is a Morteiro 81mm M/937 and was manufactured in Portugal. The bipod and baseplate have matching numbers. This mortar comes with a variety of accessories, log book, deactivation certificate and transit case.
The mortars we have were all used in the making of the 2010 TV series 'The Pacific'.
